Terms & Conditions of Online Warranty
(Local Warranty valid in Singapore)

If within the stated period of warranty (hereinafter called the warranty period) from the date of purchase this appliance is proved to be defective by reason only of faulty design, workmanship or materials and not for any other reason whatsoever we undertake upon the following conditions to repair the same free of charge.

1. That this appliance except in so far that it shall not be ordinarily used for domestic purposes shall be used solely for domestic purposes and not for any other purposes whatsoever and used strictly in accordance with the instructions for operation as provided for by the manufacturers of the said appliance.

2. This online warranty has to be fully completed with product description, model no., serial no., date of purchase, country of registration and buyer's particulars within 10 days of purchase.

3. That this appliance together with the original invoice and/or cash receipt indicating the dealer's name, the date of purchase and the type and serial number, shall be presented promptly on being found to be defective to the service centre.

4. That if at any time during the warranty period any part or parts of this appliance is or are removed, altered, tampered, adjusted, modified, dismantled, repaired or handled in anyway whatsoever by any person or persons not authorised by us, this warranty shall immediately cease to be valid.

5. That there shall be no alteration, defacement and renewal of any kind of the serial number on the appliance.

6. That our decision on all questions relating to complaints as to defects either of workmanship or of material shall be conclusive and the buyer shall agree to abide by such a decision. Any appliance or defective part that has been replaced shall become the property of AKIRA.

7. That the buyer shall be fully responsible for the due delivery and collection of the appliance for any work which shall need to be done pursuant to this warranty. Transportation expenses incurred for delivery or handling the appliance are chargeable to the buyer.

8. This warranty shall be subject to the following limitations and exclusions
   1. The appliance shall be warranted by AKIRA SINGAPORE PTE LTD for a period of :

      60 months	-	Refrigerator and Air-conditioners compressor only ,(outdoor warranty)
      12 months	-	Small Kitchen appliances, Television Sets 21" & below, Audio, Telecommunications, HygienePlus products, Digital Cameras and others, (walk-in-warranty)
      	-	Refrigerators, Television Sets 25" and above, Massage Chair (outdoor warranty)
      	-	Washers, (outdoor warranty)

      From the date of purchase only.
   2. The terms and conditions of this warranty shall be contained exclusively in this document and no other representation terms and conditions or provisions either written or otherwise regardless of the origin of the same shall be accepted as either adding to or subtracting from these terms and conditions.
   3. The buyer waives all or any claims to compensation monetary or otherwise which he may be entitled to and shall agree any compensation whatsoever by way of additional repairs or otherwise which we in our absolute discretion may deem fit to offer. The giving of compensation under this paragraph shall be subject to the other provisions of the warranty.
   4. This Warranty is not transferable, negotiable or assignable to any third party.
   5. This warranty does not particularly cover damages, losses, defects and malfunctions caused and resulting from:-
      1. act of God, fire, civil unrest, accidents, misuse, improper installation, or any manner of tampering;
      2. usage of wrong electrical supply/voltage;
      3. usage not in accordance with the operation instruction booklets;
      4. normal wear and tear, corrosion rusting or stains; and
      5. we shall not under any obligation, legal or otherwise to repair this appliance if the same shall be required as a result of losses, damages and malfunctions arising from any of the causes mentioned in this paragraph

   6. The items/accessories including but not limited to as specified below and in the Product Warranty Guide shall also not be within the scope and purview of this warranty:-

      Cables/cords assembly, remote control unit, antennae, batteries, adaptors, battery pack, external parts and extruded parts such as cabinets, front panel, casing, cover, lid and levers, plugs, sockets, control knobs/buttons, belt, brushes, dirt storage devices, protective screen, lamp and other parts with limited life span etc, as and when to be specified.

9. For repairs of appliances after the warranty period, the buyer is still required to produce the original invoice and cash receipt indicating the dealer's name, the date of purchase and the type and serial number. All services provided after the warranty period are chargeable.
10. The terms and conditions of this warranty shall be exclusively written in this document. No other party except AKIRA SINGAPORE PTE LTD Management shall have authority to vary the stated terms and conditions.
